You Shall All Covet The New Addiction

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oddly that is what had me in love with CO. Day I moved to the state I drove through a midwest blizzard and by the time I rolled into Denver it was in the upper 70s and I had the AC on. That night it snowed 12inches (mid September). I drove up to Summit and hiked for powder runs all day at Loveland Pass the next day. By the following day people in Denver were golfing and playing tennis again as the 12" snow had already melted in the 70degree plus weather. Gotta love CO!

Yep, Rotts are great family dogs, natural protectors. That picture is from a couple years ago. I haven't taken any lately because he has a skin condition from allergies, with hair falling out and stuff . . . not very photogenic. He's getting along in age now for a big dog, 9 y/o.

I believe I may have changed my mind about wheels for my rt bike. I may pass in the Zipps and go with HED Jets (disc and 9) instead to save some cash.

Whyfi...why didn't your wife dress up?

PS good news, the new work computers lock out almost everything but not BF...now it is literally the only thing left to do while not working at work.

I rode today for the first time in quite some time...my long time power numbers are getting hit hard in the off season, but I was mildly impressed by my <30 sec numbers...until I realized that it wasn't me maintaining...just that I am fatter and that has helped put a little more torque to the pedals

when the monthly reports roll out and they see that you spend 7hrs a day on BF they will lock it...or write you up

Monthly reports. Ha. Another reason I like being self-employed.

I worked for a fortune 500 company 11 years ago and I was in IT , I had access to all reports...it was funny to see what people were doing with their time at work...many people fired that way.
