Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

cyclocross is stupidity in a refined form. delusion is the 40 year old that buys his son a $10,000 bike forcing him to get into bike racing, but the kid is 5'8 and 200lb and unless this is downhill racing the kid is SOL'd......Sorry I raged hard at a local race when I see this. The kid definitely didnt know the value of a dollar.

yes, but all said tri-specific products must be googled and purchased from Amazon.com with a prior thread asking our permission.

Correct. Stupid smart person= the very intelligent chemist who cheats on his wife, but is too stupid to believe she will divorce him. Moron.
Smart stupid person? Stupid people are usually wily or clever, rather than smart.

There are some improvements that I'd use, but not enough to justify the upgrade from the 4.

Hey, looks like my "Deep Thoughts" thread got folded into this one.

I suppose that's where it belongs.

At least it didn't go *poof* like the thread about the new you-know-who.

True.

But now we can't bounce/resurrect that thread in 1-2 years when the next generation Dura-Ace comes out, to see who was closest in predicting the number...

Deep thoughts have no place here, so the merger was inevitable.

Yeah, I know.

On a happier note, I swung by "Performance" today and picked up a pair of Forte Titan wheels for my new build.

Those forte's were less than 120 bucks for the pair.

Pretty good bang/buck.
