Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ti rulez! blood thinners suck like folding bikes.

The only real downside that I can see is risk of injury or death if you crash or fall. If I could be Pcad in a Bubble® it would be fine. Drastically lowers risk of heart attack, stroke, blood clots, etc. So not great if you're a cyclist/skier, etc.

Stop in Boulder for at least two nights. Stay at the St Julien downtown and rent bikes from University Bikes, one block away. "Performance Road" rental options are excellent, but pricey: https://ubikes.com/services/rentals/.

Amante Coffee, one of Boulder's finest, is across the street. You will be next door to The Med, one of the best restaurants in town, and walking distance to at least twenty others.

Ride from the front door of the hotel. Ride details to follow.

And if for some reason you don't stay at the St Julien, stay at the Hotel Boulderado.

I was thinking you'd rent from Ubikes just the days you were in Boulder. It's OK for a day or two, but a week is ridiculous.

Their Indy Fab rental is really nice, but I'd probably go with the Tarmac to see what all the fuss is about.

Where is this thread going:

1) Fat ass
2) Makel
3) Pcad's blood thiner
4) Hybrids also Pcad

Can we try and make it somewhat bike related?

Maybe a big padded seat for fat asses?
