You Shall All Covet The New Addiction

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Always seeing the silver lining. I was thinking about that being a picture of a something that was peed on.

Mets fan optimism I suppose.

I'm sure your wife would be thrilled to know you shared that. And it's been so long I'm not sure I remember how.

That statement is just asking for abuse, I know.

Maybe you need a new seat or some blue pills? Guess the blue pills might interact with the blood pressure meds and that is the problem?

She could give a flying fark. That's why we've been happily married for nearly 20 years. My theory is you try to find one broad who will put up with all your crap, and in the unlikely event you find her, never let her go.

Congrats!

...now watch as your mileage goes down the toilet. My boy is almost 5 months, and I just had my first significant ride since his birth (about 80 miles, to/from & including the oh-so-prestigious Tour de Bronx).

Forget all that.

While the 41 may well be the Vatican of Stupid, and I may be the Pope (self-proclaimed or otherwise), at the end of the day it has nothing on the 33 RDF (Reality Distortion Field). Actually, we can't really compete with some of those idiots because it would appear they take all this bicycle crap seriously.

Discuss.

This is Very Serious Business.

And don't even THINK about waving at me, Fredly. I will crush your MUP-riding soul.

Oh, don't get me wrong - I enjoyed it (other than one of my cleats breaking 10 miles in, but I don't think that I can blame that on the Bronx) and I'll do it again. It did get a little choppy with traffic when it got strung out, but it was perfect weather and there was some nice scenery.
