Backup bike build complete - Fuji SL1
Just finished up building up my backup / rain bike. The majority of the build is budget with an exception of the wheelset. The bike is pictured with a set of Psimet's but the majority of the time I will be using a Powertap rear with a cheap front wheel.
All considering, I think it turned out pretty nice. Weight isn't too bad either.

Considering this bike has a very heavy $120 crankset and lower level components I am very happy with the weight.

Thank you. I've only got three right now. The Colnago CX1, the Fuji SL1, and the Redline Conquest (CX bike).

Thank you. If if helps I plan to use my cross bike for a snow bike. Last year I used my carbon roadie as a snow bike.

Nice! I'm curious how you got it that light, my '09 SL1 with full SRAM Red and SRAM S30 AL Race wheels still come in at about 16lb.

The Psimet wheelset weighs in at 1,276 grams for the set, so that helps a good bit. Also, the red cassette is very light, a lot of time people with full Red go with a cheaper cassette, not sure if that is what you did or not. The saddle only weighs about 135 grams so that helps too.

Oh, I forgot about the IF Crown Jewel frameset. My brother hasn't brought that back to me yet but it is mine again. I gave it to him but it ended up being too big so he is returning it.

Yep, here they are on the scales.

Forgot to mention the brakes. For the price they just can't be beat.

Thank you. I traded the Kestrel frameset to a friend of mine (LBS owner) for his IF frameset.

Sorry to drag this back up, but did you weigh the frameset bare by chance? I'm curious how it compares to my Roubaix SL.
