Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Roadie Rage!!

So I'm riding and this guy keeps drafting me like ridiculously close I could see his tire in my peripheral vision and I kinda slow down because of the people in the way as well as avoiding potholes and he goes beside me and just goes like wtf you doing kinda thing lmao, I'm surprised he didn't kill someone with the way he was riding. What crawled up this dude's ass?

Life is so cruel, I always wave. Don't see a point of not when they already put the effort to raise their hand lol. Like gosh how ******y are you.

Marko is obviously too distraught to use periods.

I'm a Mechanical Engineering major and I find your lack of grammatical competency nearly inexcusable.

Just kidding...but really, it's not a good excuse. Even technical jobs require basic writing skills.

Sunday, I was cruising around White Rock Lake, on the road part, going about 22 mph, which is fairly fast for me. A guy pulled in behind me, stayed right behind me a bit, then passed me up. But about a 100 yards ahead of him, another guy was going just my speed, so he got stuck behind him at that speed. I gradually inched it up to 24 mph or so, and had narrowed the gap considerably when I came to my turn off place; had I continued, I might could have passed 'em both. The cool thing was that both the other guys were driving cars.

Then Monday, I was back out there, came across the trail bridge parallel to Mockingbird, and there was another rider in front of me going pretty fast. As he went down the bridge incline, he did a couple of cool skidz on the incline, and I thought, "Ahah! We have the elusive fixie rider!" Well, he zigzagged off the trail and onto the road. Ahead of him were three other riders on road bikes. He picked it up pretty good and passed them, but just as he did, I was able to crank it up and pass all four of them pretty handily. So victory at the MUP races was mine.

Long long ago, I learned Fortran. On punchcards, no less. And one of the more irritating things was that the compiler would flag a line, put a mark under one space and indicate "comma error". But it would not insert a comma. Evidently, the computer grammarians of that day were pretty persnickety in their punctuation rules.

And on a side note, dealing with computer issues, either you will be an employee doing what someone tells you your whole life, or at some point, you'll be trying to sell your services. And if you try to sell your services, it helps to look professional, and that involves punctuation and grammar.

O . . M . . G

Seriously?

You see folks, this is what you call major league trolling, because nobody could possibly be that . . . . . . . . . . . . um, yeah.

And he edited the comment, too.

Won't be one for long if you don't care about grammer. Better to take up a cat6 mup racing career instead while there is still time!

it's all about getting the KOM on strava. You don't need no stinkin' roadie braking in your face when you're drafting them.
