brake hoods
Hey, I just got an old centurion road bike that I've been fixing up for college. Its been going great except the brake hoods are old and decrepit. I was just wondering if there was a certain type I need to get or if any old brake hood will do. I just cant find any that look like the hoods I took off. Thanks for your help.

Generally, the hoods are fitted to the specific levers. A pic of your levers and model type would be helpful. There are lot's of Centurion owners on the C&V forum that might be able to tell you exactly what and where to buy.

Just buy some Sram S500 levers. They are like Apex but without shifters, or if you want to spend more money, you can save a little weight with the S900 versions.
