Cannondale CAAD10 5 or 4?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cannondale CAAD10 5 or 4?

I hear amazing things about the CAAD10 frames, any truth to this?
Also I am debating to go with the 105 group or Rival. I'm used to Shimano but I don't think it really matters to me that much in the end in terms of the shifting motion. I know the Rival is lighter and has a better crank. I wish Cannondale gave the 10 4 and 10 5 better wheels though...

My friend rides a CAAD10 with Rival and he loves it. I ride Rival on my bike and I personally like it more than shimano but to each his own

Is there anything specifically that you like more about it? I'm just wondering if it's worth the extra money over the 105 model

Im on a 10-4. I was going to go with the shimano 105 but then i thought about it and first of all I wanted SRAM, second the Rival group comes with a full SRAM groupo whereas the shimano is Shimano,FSA and some other brakes mixed.

I've used 105 and rival and what I like about the rival is that shifting up and down is all in one paddle instead of a paddle for downshift and the whole level for the up shift that 105 uses. Rival shifters are also adjustable and I feel like they shift more crisp. A bad thing about rival is that they are quite loud. The bad thing about the rival is that they are pretty loud, when shifting and coasting but thats a SRAM characteristic in their entire line up.
