Great Scott! (Scott owners thread)

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Great Scott! (Scott owners thread)

I don't see many Scott owners so how about a sweet thread to show off all those sweet bikes that no one ever thinks about when going to purchase a new bike! (I would love to have a new Foil  )

Ill start..

The 2011 CR1 Pro is on my short list of new bikes. Stellar value. Only wish it came in the white like the OP's.

My 2011 Addict R1 with 2012 grey Ultegra. I need to remove some spacers. Also would like to black out the red on the 3T stem or get a Ritchey.

Yep...33t fibrelyte ring, 1x10 11-27, AX pieces, lightning crank...I wanted to build something just for local climbing repeats. I almost went with one brake but snapped out of that one... I might put on a front der/big ring/shifter someday but for how I use it it's fine for now.

That would drive me mad on the descents. Freaking cool, though.

Doesn't bother me...especially in my neighborhood where I have lots of short ~15% rollers that I'll use for intervals.

Looks like lightning cranks? What hubs are you using? If those are lightning cranks, you can knock off another 20-30g by zipp bb cups. You can also make your own hoods w/ heatshrink tubing- much lighter, cheap, and durable as hell (also pretty comfy). I gave up on AX though, except their saddles.

Yep, lightning and that's my plan next, thanks. I'm pretty done with ax too...unreal bad customer service.
