PRO Vibe 7S Top-OS handlebar?
https://www.competitivecyclist.com/pr...24.2704.0.html
They are different, yet they appeal to me. I have 3T Ergonovas on my bike right now, and while I like the ovalized/oversized tops, I am starting to hate compact drops all together due to the limited hand positions they offer. I bought 3T Rotundo bars to replace the Ergonovas because they have a classic bend to them, but I haven't installed them yet. I tried riding my girlfriend's bike w/ regular sized round-top handlebars and I didn't like the thin feel of the tops at all.
I'm thinking about selling both my 3T bars and trying these PRO Vibe bars. They seem like the best of both worlds. I'm hesitant though because it's one of those things where it might look good on paper, but they might feel horrible in real life. Anyone here use them and like them?

I have Ergonovas on my race bike. Tried the the PROs (round version) on my new winter build and found a bit too stiff (harsh) and also too wide. The width issue is partly just size based but my 42s were noticeably wider than another set of 42cm bars I have and they just felt huge. I also don't like the shape of the drops much, but that's personal as well. I'm back to Ergonovas on both bikes.
If anyone in the UK wants to try the PROs they're for sale...

I've got a pair and they're great. The only issue I have is the adjustment from the os tops to the drops which are standard diameter. They feel the same as other 44cm bars I've used, width wise I don't think there's any distortion at the point you measure because most measurements are based on the distance c to c at the drops. Ot at least none I noticed.

That's interesting. Where did the 42cm PROs feel wide? At the hoods or in the drops? I ask because 3T's bars get narrower at the hoods. For example, a 42cm bar is 42cm c-t-c at the drops, but only 40cm at the hoods. Are the PROs the same width at the drops and hoods? If so, maybe you just like the narrower tops of the 3T bars. Or perhaps they just felt wide because of the oversized tops?
If I were you I'd look for some used PROs on the cheap like I did if you want to try them.

The PROs don't really taper unlike the 3Ts so it's not a totally fair comparison. Both bars are 42cm so naturally the 3Ts are about 2cm narrower at the hoods. However, I have Scott 42cm c-c (at the hoods) bars on my commuter and the PROs are a bit wider than those as well. It's not a huge difference but they just felt fat all over and rather uncompromising comfort-wise.
If I were you I'd look for some used PROs on the cheap like I did if you want to try them.

Well damn! Looks like Christmas came early today!
I just got the carbon version of these handlebars brand new for $129 (MSRP $350) from Art's Cyclery, and during the checkout process I almost missed this banner and a drop down menu that said "Choose your free Pro Vibe stem!" The only one they had in 100mm was white, but who cares? It was free!!! Then to make the deal even sweeter, I did a Google search for "Art's Cyclery promo code" and turns out there's a code worth 15% off (SAVE15).
I paid $144 for the carbon bars, pro vibe 7s stem, and 2 boxes of Honey Stinger waffles.
I love getting deals like this! Oh yeah, free UPS Ground shipping too!
