Soul Prodigy Hubs
 

Hello guys! I have a question for those people with Soul wheels.

How are the hubs on those(SOUL Prodigy hubs)? Do you know how they compare to something like the white industries H2/H3?

I can only give you a review of a two year old design. That probably won't help since they've changed them a few times.

Well, are they still working?

I have the V2 bought in 2009. They spin very freely, longer than Mavic and AM classic hubs. Never had anyone out coast me. My front S4.0 had a spoke loosen up but I tightened it up.

Nope. Trashed a freehub bearing back in July. The washer between the freehub bearing and the hub bearing was bent out of shape too. I'd replace the bearing and the washer, but I'm going to replace the whole hub with a PowerTap G3 when it comes out.

They're really nice hubs. We have 2 sets of wheels with them. They very light and build up a really stiff wheel. The freehub isn't really loud, but isn't quiet either.

I had a set on a pair of S4.0s that my father now races on and my wife rides the newer version on a set of S3.0 wides. No complaints here. Might want to check over at weightweenies as some there buy just the hubs to use in builds with other rims.

I have a 2 yr old set - still going strong. Very very nice hubs.

i have 2 sets of old style and 3 sets of the new ones and are great spin up nice and light weight, also have H2 hubset and are just as stiff as these
