Notices
Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

Time Lapse Videos

I've been playing with my GoPro HD and decided to try out the time lapse feature. Technically, it doesn't do time lapse, it just take pictures in intervals and I had to stitch them together.

Here's my video:

Anyone else have time lapse videos to share?

Thanks, it's my regular route I ride. Half of it is on a busy thoroughfare but the drivers are "usually" respectful and keep clear so it isn't too bad. The rest of my route is residential and free of cars so that part is very nice.

is the time gap variable, or fixed?

it was a little too jumpy for me and made me ill watching it. time lapse can be cool, though.

The time variable is 2, 5, 10, 30, or 60 seconds. I shot it every 2 seconds (default). I think if I were to space it out greater than 2, it would look disjointed. I could also be the framerate I selected when putting this together. I chose to go with 24 fps instead of 30 fps.
