First bike...CC Calculator Measurements
Trying to figure out some measurements, though the CC calculator seem to come up with some difficult numbers to follow by (namely top tube length). Unless I messed up somewhere in the measurements.
Followed their instructions to a T and was measured by someone else with a leveler and measuring tape.

It seems like the cc is on par with many other measurement tools, around 50-52cm.

Maybe try using centimeters. Inches are rather large units, even at 0.5 inches, still less accurate than centimeters.
You know, when I first started road biking, I used the CC calculator and decided I wanted a French fit.
Since then through my own trial and error (self fitting on a turbo trainer and about a year of riding and reading many fitting websites and blogs, especially Steve Hogg and Peter White etc), I have a new bike with my fit dialed in perfectly.
I just tried the CC calculator again and the funny thing is, my self fitting almost matches their Competitive fit. Except my setback is slightly longer.
So it turns out their fit calculator is pretty spot on, just didn't know I wanted a Competitive fit instead of French.
Here's my measurements.
Measurements
-------------------------------------------
Inseam: 81
Trunk: 59
Forearm: 35
Arm: 65
Thigh: 60
Lower Leg: 53
Sternal Notch: 141
Total Body Height: 176
The Competitive Fit (cm)
-------------------------------------------
Seat tube range c-c: 52.4 - 52.9
Seat tube range c-t: 54.1 - 54.6
Top tube length: 53.1 - 53.5
Stem Length: 10.8 - 11.4
BB-Saddle Position: 69.3 - 71.3
Saddle-Handlebar: 51.5 - 52.1
Saddle Setback: 5.0 - 5.4

You are 5' 7" and it's saying you need a 55-56cm top tube, which seems like a big size for your height. However, I notice you have shorter legs and a longer torso so maybe a 56cm TT would work fine if the seat is lower. Luckily most bikes today have very sloping top tubes. If you go with a frame that has a traditional/horizontal top tube you might not have adequate standover top tube clearance because of your shorter inseam.
Here are my Fit Calculator measurements. Notice how my trunk and arm lengths are just a little longer than yours, but your results are calling for a longer top tube? That's the only part that seems strange. Then again, my results call for a longer stem so maybe it is accurate. FWIW, I ride a 56cm TT frame and use a 100mm stem. It's a perfect "French fit."

Ah I see. You are right lwrncc, I should the measurement in cm and see how it goes. Stuck on the U.S. units system, lol.
(Not exactly a scientific measure...) I've always been perceived as 'flexible' though really I always thought because my legs "are just right there..." which allowed me to bend and flex toward it with ease. Therefore, the longer torso/shorter legs claim makes a lot of sense now.
I appreciate your input ilovecycling. Fortunately, some of the bikes I was looking to try out have some pretty tight geos so we'll see how that goes. Thanks again everyone!
