Help: Looking for Stem Mounted Aerobar options

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Help: Looking for Stem Mounted Aerobar options

I'm looking for Stem-Mounted Aerobar options. Google brings up lots of previously available options (like Oval Concepts), but nothing current. The stuff on ebay is incomplete and/or 26.0mm.

Are there any stem or stem faceplate aerobars available now?

Thanks

At least six months ago you could still get Oval Concepts with 31.8mm.

That said, there's a reason they apparently don't make those anymore. I've broken two sets of them. There's a place on each side of the stem plate where the metal is very thin, flexes, and eventually fails.

Just ordered one the Oval Concepts one from Bike Somewhere for $205, in a 31.8mm size.

I'd been meaning to replace the last one, and your thread prompted me to do it before they are all gone.

It's an expensive, and somewhat flawed, solution. But given the sizing on our tandem, it's the best answer to get aero bars low enough.

(and still cheaper than buying a deicated TT tandem).
