Best low cost bike tire

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Best low cost bike tire

Hey guys! I was just wondering what the best low cost($25 per tire) is.
I don't care about flat resistance(I use tire liners)
I just want tires that are long lasting. Thanks!

One option: https://www.amazon.com/Continental-Ul...9151415&sr=1-1
Any one know how these tire are?

you can get vittoria rubino pros for about $25/tire on probikekit. i like mine and get several thousand miles per tire with very few flats.

EDIT: gotta get lucky and catch them when they're in stock, though...

Nope. But I bet you can get the same tire cheaper from a web store in the UK.

For $25?!?!? You sure they didn't just "fall off the truck"??

Realistically, Panaracer Paselas are a great tire for the money - smooth ride, fast-ish, and long lasting.

I'm a fan of the Nashbar Duro line. Made by Panaracer, good ride quality and long lasting.

Serfas Seca tires are pretty darn good for a cheaper tire.

Your link says prices start at $17.74; but when you click on the sizes,
cheapest one is actually $22.24. I use this:

Vittoria Zaffiro II Tire - 700 x 25

  • $17.00

I use 28mm Ultra Sports on my Long Haul Trucker and occasionally on my Roubaix when I know I'm gonna see some rough pavement. I like them well enough to keep purchasing them from my LBS for < $25. I've never had any problems with flats worth noting and the ride feels well enough for the price.
