...Rides, with out any phylosophical crap.

lotek 12-03-04 03:44 PM

Thank you.
Things have been a bit testy here lately. I don't know maybe its
the season, but its nice to see someone remembers why we ride.

Nice.
Thanks...

Despite my occaisional sarcasm, I agree. I'd add that a real cyclist will turn off a televised bicycle race, go out, and ride.

Does any one know what the design of the discovery stuff is going to be? Its going to be weird with out the posties any more.

hi565 12-03-04 04:04 PM

Am i digressing to much?

Ride??? Who the hell rides here? I thought this was just a venue to mouth off in.

HigherGround 12-03-04 11:09 PM

A real cyclist... doesn't confuse being a faster rider with being a better person.

That's right. A real cyclist knows that you have to be faster on HILLS to be a better person.

A real cyclist rides whatever he has and loves it, and doesn't listen to the folks saying his bike is a piece of crap...

Rowan 12-04-04 02:38 AM

Subscribes here? Just ask 53-11. Or not.

I think not!

They would watch the race, and then go out and ride. ;)

Cheers...Gary

I think not not. A real cyclist rides his/her trainer/rollers while watching the race and tries to pace with the racers...then if he/she has anything les goes for a real ride. :D

shokhead 12-04-04 08:57 AM

Yep,a real cyclist{i hate that real and fred crap}rides. Slow, fast on barely,he's still on a bike.

Not not not. A REAL cyclist falls off the rollers while following the 2 dimensional racers corner through a particularly tight bend, dusts off their rug burned legs, and jumps back on to join the chase group.

Nice thought. Just add cyclocross bike to the mix and I agree. I have to admit, I'd enjoy having an ultra-light CF bike for weekend rides, but I hope the CF roadies are just a little jealous when they drive their cars by me while I'm riding across snow and ice on my Cross-Check.

FLBandit 12-04-04 04:02 PM

I have to agree with the "wants one of everything" thought. I picked up 4 brochures today while out looking at bikes. Been considering selling my motorcycle to buy another bicycle! Do I have it bad or what?

hi565 12-04-04 04:48 PM

Real bad

(i am not mad, trying to show mad face)

hi565 12-04-04 04:48 PM

*bad
