Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

awesome ebay score

my wife just scored on this auction. we've been looking at new bikes with sora/tiagra at the same price. anyone ride a litespeed hyperion?
now if a 55cm bianchi pista would just pop up on ebay...
anyway she's psyched. quite a step up from her old cdale mtn bike with slicks she's been using on the road, although now she's arguably got a better bike than me!...

You don't really want that front 105 hub laced radial. The radial on the nondrive in the rear isn't good business either. The shortest TT on that model was a 51.He measured wrong.

ahh i spocked out the geometry on it first. actually it's listed as a 47 cm with a 50.2 cm tt which is perfect. as for the wheels i think they're more than fine. i ride a lighter set up with a 16 spoke radial front and i outweigh her by 60 pounds. thanks for the reply tho...

Smallest that bike was made in was a 49, with a 51 TT acording to the 02 Litespeed catalogue I got. All hubs AIN'T the same. Some hubs can be spoked radially .Not 105s. Shimano says don't do it cus there is not enogh meat in the flange between the spoke hole and the outer flange edge. Easy enough to compare hubs that can be and ones that shouldn't be.

I was just complaining 'cause it seems that 51cm's never seem to show up on ebay, especially for good Bianchi's. The grass is always greener (or is that celeste...)
