Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What is the cheapest computer capable of....

plotting graphs of heart rate, speed and elevation throughout a ride?

A friend has just started riding and I was thinking of getting them a present for christmas. I dont want to get anything too expensive but I know they would like those functions. Mainly heart rate.

Cheers

Sigma Rox though they go for over $200 it seems, so it doesn't justify purchasing it over say a Garmin Edge 500 or the 200. Go with either an Edge 200 or 500, you can find both of them cheap online.

Edge 200 doesn't support Ant+ though so no HR/Cadence. The 500 was 'on sale' this past weekend bundled for $299 at performance I believe.
