ADK carbon fork/ any experiance? $75 on ebay new

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No one can tell you. Some of that stuff is awesome, those factories can make great stuff.

There's just no guarante that this fork is good, or dental surgery waiting to happen.

ADK is a well known respected factory. If this really was made by them then it should be good. . .and that's a good price.

funny on teeth joke.
at 417.304 gram uncut is so tempting.Free shipping to boot. I get an impression big factories like this make the same fork with different names to different bike manufactures perhaps with slight modifications like rake angle etc.
I feel better that its made in Taiwan instead of China (not that China can't make quality parts) but Taiwanese quality standards are always impressive.

Mr. Boyd knows stuff. If he says it is okay, then it's worth the go-ahead.

ADK makes US Olympic and National Team bikes.

Just make sure the 45mm rake is what you want. The listing doesn't give the crown-axle height but usually those are all close enough to not affect headtube angle drastically...but you never know.

Got the fork today.
All advertised aspects were correct.
All Carbon /Very light 700c 45 rake
1-1/8

Looks fantastic. Without putting on the bike from how it looks and feels seems like nice quality product.
Given I paid $75 its immaculate.Fast free shipping to boot
I'll take pics tomorrow.

Now I have to find expandable fork plug...

Sounds good. I think you've convinced me to ask this for a Christmas gift Please post an update when you can. What's the need for an expandable fork plug?

Just received the fork. Initial impressions are that it is a nice, solid piece. I don't have experience with other forks, but I do have experience with carbon. Wall thickness, bonding, finish, alum stays all seem in check. Of course, time will tell if this thing was a good or bad investment; so until then, I'll be holding onto my stock fork as well. My only gripe is that the "Pedal Force" decal is under the clear, so no way to take it off without sanding Pics are below for anyone who is interested.

I bought FSA plug from price point $10
It is recommended for carbon steerers since you don't have to hummer anything in and you can take it out without trouble.Star plugs go in and stay in...and the force may crack the carbon steerer.
In am very happy with my purchase.Price can't be beat.Time will tell how it will hold up.
