Spooky Skeletor!!!
I ordered this bad boy a couple months ago and it finally came in today. So freaking excited. Hopefully I'll have it put together and ready to ride by tomorrow or the day after. Here are some pics of my new baby.

I'm dying for one of his mountain bikes. He's trying to sell me on a 650B. Not sure though. Worried about availabilty and price of wheel components.

Are they trying to horn in on my national company name recognition? Better see the "paton" office on this one.
I think I was the first Spookeay. Well they spell it common spelling so I guess I have no recourse. Oh well,,,,,, Nice Bike!

I've never seen an aluminum frame that didn't have lumpy welds.

Lots of companies sand 'em down, but that's how a nice aluminum tig weld looks.

A good aluminum weld will be lumpy. Some companies add extra material and then smooth it out but that doesn't make it any stronger - just more expensive.

That's more or less the point. It's aluminum, but still reasonably light. Very stiff. Standard geometries are aggressive enough. Custom geometry is available.

Hmm....I will definitely have to look into the frame. Much better then the Allez frameset (2100g for frame and fork!)

Somebody was in a hurry. Those Spookys are expensive so there really is no excuse. You'd be hard pressed to buy a bike from a shop that looked like that. There are artists out there.

Somebody was in a hurry when they designed that ugly bike. It's nice that they took the time to sand down the welds though.
