I've seen that bike as well. It has wheels that attempt to look like Ksyriums.

Interesting. I just checked where it is at locally. All of the Chicago stores have them in stock, in the suburbs you find "limited quantity" and in the ritzier burbs they aren't even carried. I can't even build a beater for $100, so I might have to pick one up, a couple of cans of murdered black spray paint, and get to work. Though, if you leave it this color, you won't even have to lock it up downtown. Nobody in their right mind would steal that, as it would be humiliating to ride it.

I got my 7yr old daughter a bike from Walmart for this Christmas. It is the Kent "Peace" 18" model.
Kind of hipster and cool. But she is 7..not some dufus 20 something riding around with green painted tires.

Not actually, I just wanted to push your buttons and see what kind of spurious inferences you would come up with.

I bet it doesn't get stolen as often. So to that extent, it serves its purpose. I know plenty of companies painted their equipment properties that way to keep employee from taking them home (w/o authorization).

My local Wally world had one. It's a POS for sure, but better than the faux suspension bikes they sell. At least it's simple.
It isn't as heavy as the 35 lbs previously reported. It's probably high 20s, not unlike the SE Draft or Schwinn Cutter. I think they should have kept it all black. Th rims and tires are hideous.

Although I hate the ******** who ride their "fixies" with 17 different colors and aero rims, I have to say that fixed geared bikes are actually pretty fun to ride.
