Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I agree. They do have a rather thick section there. But Sammy Sanchez can still make it work.

Haha. Too funny! I was wondering why you didn't critique the Orbea rider!

I am riding a 2009 and it is a climber! Like monkeys on crack! I am 6'2" and 200 pounds and do not find it harsh in ride. If you use very stiff wheels, the bike can feel a little chattery on broken pavement - but which bike does not? I actually prefer the aesthetics of the 2009 v the latest version.

Here is a question. Not a very serious question, but.....

If I did get an Orca and stick a set of Cannondale Hollowgram SL's on it would it pass the "Hot Or Not" scrutiny

The cranks are undoubtedly hot, but putting them on an Orca? I don't think I have seen them on anything but a C'dale

I love orcas. We have resident pods and sometimes, from the ferry, I see transients heading up Georgia Strait.

The best time was when I was kayaking up Johnstone Strait and a big group swam by really close.
