Tell me why I shouldn't buy either one of these wheels

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tell me why I shouldn't buy either one of these wheels

Blackset Race Ten White Edition or Pure Race SuperLight 700c
In the podium version from Bicycle wheel warehouse.
They have a F-24 and R-28 spoke count
The Blackset has a 24mm height with a weight of 1354g and cost $520 and the pure is 27mm /1435g cost $590
Podium – Makes full use of Sapim light weight, butted, aero bladed CX-Ray spokes, one of the best spoke options available to man, excluding price as a defining criteria. The front wheel will be laced with a one (1x) cross lace pattern, the rear wheel uses a three (3x) cross lace pattern on both the drive and non-drive side. The Race build level includes black alloy nipples on both the front and rear wheels.
I've been looking at Souls - they only have 20/24 spoke count and unknown name brand of spokes that seem to be breaking . Also looked at revolution wheels (rev 27) and use the same spokes but have 20/24 spoke count and the front is radial mounted spokes for $560. I'm also waiting for Psimet to get back to me with a setup. I also counted out the Easton EA90slx due to bad reviews and low spoke count
I like this price point and my goal is to drop some weight from my 1700+g wheels I have now that I can still use to train with. I'm not interested in carbon or tubular or high priced wheels.
Any Thoughts **********

The Blackset Race Ten (Blue Edition), I got are very nice wheels.
The finish on mine was not quite up to what I hoped, but they have performed just fine for the two or so thousand miles I have on them.
