I use this one and like it a lot! Its made by feedback sports. Some things you just get what you pay for. this isn't a CHEAP POS, but it also isn't a high end stand either. Works nicely for me and does what I need it to.

+1 on the Feedback. VERY stable. Mine has the tool tray which is useful; screws, nuts and bolts go in there and don't get lost.
Amazon has the RAD stand for $55 with a Free shipping option. 4 positive reviews

Funny that all of the negative comments are from people who haven't purchased (let alone seen) the stand the OP is asking about, I guess if isn't expensive or have a brand name it must be junk.
Also, the only negative comment on it was a reference to the reviews on it by those who actually owned it.
Plus, the OP asked for other suggestions. We can't help it if we buy good stuff. "Expensive" is relative.
[bermanfb28 "...any other recommendations?"]
Most of my bike hand tools are Park, I know they make good stuff. But for a bike stand it made no sense to spend over $150 when I was able to get a stand for $55 that does the same thing.
That's $50. "less" for a 1 year warranty or $50. "more" for a lifetime of security
from a company that stands behind it's product more than RAD does.
I've been using the stand all weekend, it is stable and the legs don't get in the way. If my budget was unlimited I would have purchased the Feedback stand, but for the money I had to spend this RAD stand is great.

(especially when it can be upgraded as budget allows to accept parts from it's higher end stands).
I only spent $50. for mine.

Questions:
It looks like the stands arm that holds the bike doesn't telescope out like the entry-level Park Stand's arm.
Is that so? Does it's short arm put you right up close to the base of the stand?
Why did you buy Park Tools? Are you "unintelligent" for buying them when there are cheaper tools available?
What kind of bike do you ride? Something that costs "more" than $200.? Or a GMC Denali?
Don't get me wrong. I'm all for buying cheap to get started, but to automatically insist that paying
more for a better product is somehow "less" intelligent or a waste, well, that too is relative.

Again, it's all relative. I found spending $108. for Park Tool Stand actually cheap
(especially when it can be upgraded as budget allows to accept parts from it's higher end stands).

Bike stand is different, doesn't get used everyday and it only needs to hold the bike steadily. For $55 I felt this was the best value. Tell me where I can get a $50 Park and I'm on it

It's your money, spend as much as you want, I didn't want to. This is a excellent stand, probably as good or better than an entry level Park or Feedback, and at half the cost it's even better. Like I said, if this thing turns out to be a turd, I'll edit my post and go buy the Feedback. So far I'm impressed.
Took a few pics. (don't mind the garage, it is a total mess with all the Christmas stuff in there)
This is the camera lined up with the front tire of the bike. Legs stick out a bit but not enough to get in the way. You can also loosen the clamp and slid the bike closer or farther away from the stand. Height is adjustable, so is the angle of how the bike is held.

Pic of the clamp.

Pic of the legs.

Pic of my recently converted old hybrid (now a single speed mountain bike). While I was taking these pics I was moving the stand around with the bike on it and the bike didn't slip, rotate, or anything.

I don't automatically run and buy the most expensive tool out there. I research, read reviews and then purchase what I feel is the best value for my money. I've use crappy hand tools before so rarely do I go cheap with those.

So judging from those pics, you're working right up on those legs (as opposed to away from them avoiding a tripping hazard). That's what I love about my Park Tool Stand. It gives you options...like the option to put your work away from the legs. It looks like if you were doing a lot of work at one sitting, you'd have to be standing the whole time because you probably couldn't sit on a work stool without your legs resting on the stand's legs, right?
And again, "expensive" is relative. IMO, a $170. stand (that'd be a PS-10 accessorized like yours, but with better options like quick release clamp, extended arm to give you more working room and a significantly larger tray so maybe it's not a fair comparison...I guess that would be apples to oranges) is worth it in that it carries a lifetime warranty where as your's is only warrantied for 12 months.
As for where you can get a Park Stand for $50.? Craigslist.
Just to be clear, when YOU buy more expensive things (like tools for example), it's not lacking in intelligence?
But those of us that prefer better quality are unintelligent for spending more money on said better products?

The lack of intelligence comes from the snarky comments people make who look and picture and then think they are experts. Remember this post? (LOL! That looks like something that belongs in a dentist office. The reviews on Amazon are rather negative.) If this is where the post is going to go then I'll join in, I mean really, do people come to this this forum to actually read and discuss the content of posts or just throw negative comments out there for the heck of it.
OP asked about a stand and just because is doesn't cost a lot and is an off brand the criticism start almost immediately. You got a Park stand for $50 off CL, I would have done the same if one was available. Buying new this was my best option.

How far can you place your work from the where the legs protrude out?
So people who say things you don't like are unintelligent? If it looks like something that belongs in a dentist office to them, I don't think there is any call for you to personally insult them (or anybody else for that matter). I don't think anybody personally insulted you, right? Some would say that personally insulting people because they insulted an inanimate object would be unintelligent. Or not. As for them exposing that that there have been negative comments made about your product, that's nothing to personally insult someone over either. It's just stating a fact. See, on BF, it's good to get both sides of the story, the good with the bad. It's the fairest presentation to the OP asking for advice. You shared you experience (albeit, very limited) and that's good. The other poster shared what he knew about the product.
What criticism? Aesthetic opinions? Negative feedback from actual owners? They were relaying information to the OP. Your gripe should be with the RAD owners (not with those who offered the OP the information he was actually seeking).

Both sides of the story means people who actually own this product post about the pros and cons of it, or post about their experiences with other stands they own. Snide comments don't make for a constructive discussions, but if that is where these posts go then I'll join in, y'know whatever.
I do have a negative comment about the stand, I wish there was less plastic. For $55 I wasn't expecting CNC'd parts and there actually is more metal than I thought there would be, but still.
I'm done, it's late and I have website crap to finish.

Not yet, but it is cold. The snow will start Tuesday morning precisely 2 hours before I drive to work after 17 days off.
Yeah, I'm done. Posted pics, commented on the stand, bickered about nothing important, just another day on the 41,

Oh, on the subject of tool trays: I recently bought this tool tray for my Park PCS-1
I bought it from Amazon and the description there failed to mention that an additional collar is needed to attach it to a PCS-1 or PCS-4. However, when I read reviews of the collar, it appears that the collar does not fit all PCS-1 stands either. I guess the model was made with 2 different diameter tubes. A couple of hose clamps worked perfectly, if not quite as elegantly.

Good point. If I ever got a carbon bike, I'd probably have to get a different style of workstand. Everything I have now is either steel or aluminum, however.

Hell. I'm going for it...
RAD Cycle RADical Bike Repair Stand
At $39 bucks SHIPPED, I'll chance it.

https://factory-direct-prices.store.b...234093944.html
I've already modified an engine stand for the grunt work, by adding a 1" diameter piece of round stock to slip into the seat tube or headstock...

I'm just looking for "wall hanger" / used on occasion bike storage and something for light maintenance use (lubing, cable adjustments, etc) for my work shop office. I can't find an overhead, floor, or wall mount storage system that I like.
So.... we'll see!

I got mine and LOVE it!

Sadly, the price recently jumped up to $63.40 for those still in the market. Luckily, I squeaked in while it was at $39 though.
It's not the "folding" RAD which actually works out better for me.

for $200.00 you could almost buy material and a small MIG welder and make your own to your own specs.

I have been happy with the Spin Doctor G3 from Performance which looks a lot like the Feedback and often goes on sale.
https://www.performancebike.com/bikes...66_-1___400152
However the RAD mentioned above does look effective and economical.
