Seriously? How do they plan a race that goes for half the day and expect nobody to have to go to the bathroom?

What's the alternative? Are there porta potties along the route?

I guess they could piss themselves while they are riding.

This is one of the things that separates us from the anima....uh, triathletes.

If it is 104 degrees and you aren't peeing once per hour or so, you are threatening your health. Piss on them.

All bike racers should carry a small black screen built into their cycling shorts which when unfolded allows them to relieve themselves discretely. Something like a small tent. Of course, nothing can be done about the sound of tricking wastewater so parents of children who witness such events must be advised to avert their eyes, and cover their ears...but then again they're Aussie's so 'taking a piss' shouldn't be a big deal. :)

Imagine, peeing when you have to pee being unseemly behavior.

Perhaps it's just easier to wear a catheter and have a small drain tube routed underneath the BB. This design could be for either gender.
