Wilier Zero7
This frame looks very interesting at sub 800 grams for size Large, and 750 grams for Medium. Also with the new 386 evo crank system that is the evolution of BB30 looks to be a giant step forward. I own a Cento Uno SL and love it, it would be a treat to ad the Zero 7 to the stable.

Love that frame, way out of my price range though. Post pictures when/if you get it.

LightWeights, Campagnolo EPS, light seat tube, stem, bars and you can easily be under 12 Lb!
|
Worst looking frame ever. I wouldn't be caught dead riding it even if it was < 500 grams and free. The 386 Evo crank makes sense, but otherwise the bike is a total abomination. I'd take a Cento Uno SL over this thing in a second.

so you don't like it?

Nothing wrong with the way the frame looks, it's the paint job that's hideous.

Is it not best to buy based on performance? I guess if I was concerned about looking amazing I would be racing a Ferrari Enzo instead of a bicycle. :)

I made no comment to the contrary. Brush up on your command of the language before trying to talking smack.

I meant no insult, just pointing out the obvious. You may want to re-read my post.

No it's not.
Then you should probably address the person that said that they'd never ride such an ugly frame, as opposed to the person that countered them. You may want to re-read the definition of "context." i did. Your welcome to continue arguing with yourself, have a nice day. |
"you're"

If the shape of the frame is hideous, it is on the 75+% of the bikes out that look pretty much the same. Likewise for the paint scheme.

Okay English majors, let's get the thread back on topic.

I think the bike is very elegant looking. It's very impressive in person, it was shockingly light and had a great mix of stiffness and ride quality, albeit a short test ride. A lot of excitement around this frame at the moment.
