Whats the max you would pay?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looks ok. The carbon is misleading since the bike is aluminum with a carbon fork. Max I'd go for that is $850 USD

$650-700 max if it's in great shape. It's 3 years old, aluminum, and 105. Brand new that bike is about $900.

A Trek 1.7 is what I would've purchased if they were sold in the U.S. as my first bike.
First of all, EXCELLENT frame (it's the current 2.X frame here in the U.S.).
105/Ultegra/105 5700 bits, can't go wrong with that.

The only weak point would be the wheels, but I agree with PGJ.
$700. would be a great price and that's almost what they are asking for it.
If you manage to get it for that price, you'll have a bike that'll need nothing,
but a wheelset and personalization items (saddle, bar, stem, pedals).

THIS! Forget the Trek. Scrounge up another $200 and get the BMC. You will thank us later.

The 1.7 is a great bike, especially with the 5700 upgrade.
I've have found the wheels kinda suck being heavy, not very stiff, and unreliable, but they don't spend much time on the bike anymore.

If you can afford it, get the BMC, FROM YOUR LOCAL BIKE SHOP.
