Can I put Conti 700x42 on a Zipp 404?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sure. You can also put high-performance low-profile tires on a semi-truck.

You can. Putting the wheel on your bike with the tire mounted may be a different issue though -- unless you intend to mount it like a spare...

I can not put anything more that 28's on my bike. Check the clearances before you do it. Better still ask why you want to do it. Kind of like putting a beautiful wood mast and sail on a tugboat.

ULTIME COMMUTER!

When you want to get to that board meeting just that much faster, hells yeah.

That picture actually tempts me to slap some commuter tires on my Cosmic Carbones and they em on my CX commuter bike just to get people to give me a second glance.
