Actually genius, the entire name wouldnt fit in the box, board wouldnt allow it, which is why there is no "r"
Maybe you should invest in a brain, instead of an "r". Infact, next time you want to try to get into a conversation, or a pissing match w/me, let me know ahead of time? That way, I can check my brain @ the door, and we'd be even. |

Maybe Lemond has become a fixie loving hipster in his old age? Or at least has a fixie pixie he's trying to score with? That's the only reasoning I can come up with for the looks of the bike. Nothing wrong with the price, but if it's going to be in his honor seems like it should be tied in with him somehow.
Imo, wouldnt it have been a smarter decision to make a replica of that 86 bike, instead of passing off an updated version of it? Wouldnt have a problem w/ them making say a few hundred "collectors versions" of an exact replica of it for the $7k, but the current one, as you said, has nothing to do w/ him or that 86 bike. |

Well Mr. Smarty if you thought creatively you could have used LemondFan4ever and had room to spare. But Nooooooooooooo...

Well, had I known you couldnt use all 16 letters initially, I wouldve done that. Infact, I tried going back to do that, but guess what? Wouldnt let me do that either.

Also, if LOOK had made an exact replica of Lemonds 86 bike(as say a "super collectors edition" of like 150), I might have been more inclined to buy one, regardless of the $7K tag. Theyre trying to sell an ugly bike imo.

I'm only surprised it hasn't been a bigger train wreck. In fact I'm a little dissapointed. You came strong out of the box, but then some conciliatory, even reasonable posts, bled the life out of it. |

Ya, most of the posts are like a pack of wolves circling their prey waiting for a hint of fear or the smell of blood and once that fine line is drawn and crossed it's in for the kill so to speak. I have never seen a forum with so many threads that go into a tail spin for no real reason as I have here.
