a descent question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What is your gearing? The above would work, but is meant for wider range mtb gearing. If you have road bike type gearing I would stick with road derailleurs. All the Shimano groups were 9 speed at one time, but all have moved on except Sora. But the cable pull ratios and over all cassette width is the same so 10 speed derailleurs should work. The indexing is built in to the shifters and the derailleurs are 'dumb'. An exception may be the DA 7900 stuff, but you won't find that for $100.

It's hard to see, but in your bike pic it looks like you have derailleurs installed. Are they not working well?

Ok, this shouldn't be hard. But what are your shifters, cassette (small and large cogs, should be something like 12-25)) and chainring sizes (should be something like 53/39 or 50/34)

The size is usually stamped in them, but if nothing else you can count the teeth. On the shifters, what is the model number or name?

You have pretty standard road bike gearing and if it's 9 speed shimano it won't be hard to get derailleurs that work. The above suggestion for 105 is a good choice. The current version are 5700 but if you find the 5600 or 5500 they will work, too. If you want to spend less then look for Tiagra (4600, 4500 or 4400) or more it's Ultegra (6700, 6600, 6500). You only need "short cage" unless you think you want to change your cassette to get some easier gears for climbing hills.

thank u man, i mean it..... u r very helpful..... if u were on my place and wanted to change whole gear...... which models u would choose? Derailleur front and rear, cassette, chainring, chain cranck, chain and pedals i am not very rich but i could spend some money for good long lasting gear. i will keep levelers and breaks.

Since you need new RD anyway you could get a medium cage and wider cassette like a 12-30. You might need a new (longer) chain with that, too. You can use either Sram or Shimano 9 speed cassettes and usually the only problem with the cheaper models is that they are heavier. You can probably find one for $30 or so.

The other option is a compact crank with 50/34 rings but that would probably be $100 or so minimum.
