Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lemond Revolution Trainer

I have been using this trainer for about the last 2 months and it is everything they claim it to be, superb. No drag, excellent road like feel, natural spin down and crisp accurate shifting with the cassette I'm running, [SRAM Force].

There has been a lot of talk about the noise from the fan from reviews, but it's not that bad at all. Higher speeds on the smallest cog does get your attention, though not annoyingly so. Build quality is top notch, assembly simple, taking the bike on and off a snap. Overall I give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Anyone on the fence considering one, get it you won't be sorry.

It is great if you have a bike room with thick walls and a loud TV. It is certainly not a good fit for someone looking to store a trainer after use or who live with a shared wall. Aside from the noise and mobility issue, it is great.

I respectively disagree on all points, its much smaller than my road machine though it doesn't fold but is still easy to put away. Also I can't see it being a issue to a close neighbor even at a high cadence. Video microphones enhance the generated noise significantly, at its loudest its no more than a standard room fan on high.
