FWIW, it's what my wife and I use now, and since changing over to it a few years ago I've had zero pinch flats. I'm 175# and my wife is 100#.

Don't forget clothes shoes, water, etc can add ~10#. But yes, you'll notice a big improvement. My wife is ~110, and she uses 60/75 with 23s. For me, I actually had to add a few pounds to the rear to 115 and lower the fromt to ~95 and it made a difference in feel from 110/110.
