My GF and I moved into a new place together.

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I was hit by a car and totaled my Cervelo S2. I'm still in search of a road replacement.

I purchased a Specialized Venge but it has been back ordered for months. I purchased a Crux instead for it's versatility and immediate availability.

The Crux serves as my commuter, cross, and road bike:

Overkill for commuting
Great for cross
Lacking gears for road

I should take a picture of my bike room, it's pretty much the exact opposite of the OP's. Mine's filled with random boxes from my wife's failed business, old popcorn poppers, a few nutcrackers for Christmas, a large bin full of flip flops for summer, a tin of cordovan shoe polish (?). Shelves are full of folded old tires, cross shoes I found on BikeIsland, rusted stem bolts, old housing in useless lengths, a seven speed Dura Ace screw-on freewheel I can't bring myself to throw away, a hacksaw, fenders I threw on the top shelf in disgust, cheap-o Harbor Freight tools and the like. Somehow I wedge my bikes in there and turn off the lights.

On second thought, I wont take the picture. I need to get organized.

Guess that's true.... He knew how to ride with the big boys. He knew how to get arrested by a rent-a-cop. And... He knew quite a bit about shaving tools. Oh well. wkg does remind me of him, because he pushes a bunch of buttons then when someone calls him out he gets super defensive. Just sayin'

also Vicelord got permabanned. and as i stated before i will never be permabanned. because i am awesome. and i believe in smiles.

and my mind is a sponge full of information about hub geometry and flange spacing. axial/radial ball bearings. every bottom bracket and its bb shell width/diameter and which cranks are compatible. all on instant recall. the phylum chordata (just that one though).

you can choose whether or not to take advantage of my massive mind sponge of a brain. i don't care. if you don't want relevant, on topic, well thought out posts then just ignore me.

  • (Atmos) Red/Black Helmet - Airport damaged it during transport. In "decent" shape to use for MTB'ing.
  • (Ionos) Black Helmet - Replacement helmet to use for everything else.
  • (Ionos) White Helmet - Who wears black helmets during races?
