Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

..."riding on the back of a dolphin through a sea of jewels..."

Pretty catchy prose found on CL this morning:

Wicked Awesome GMC Denali Road Bike!! - $90

Hey you! Yeah you with the frown on your face. Are you ready for the experience of a lifetime that rivals riding on the back of a dolphin through a sea of jewels while a thousand angels play Bohemian Rhapsody above you?!? If you're nodding your head yes then check out this GMC Denali road bike that will carry you away on an incredible journey that those three talking animals in that movie could have never dreamed of having!

Feast your eyes below on this sweet-A road bike forged in the most secret of secret GMC bicycle laboratories. Very few bikes since the days of Orville and Wilbur Wright have ever come close to the awesomeness you see here in what I like to call the "Denali Dragon". The dragon's uber round wheels and eye scorching yellow paint make this beast worthy to be ridden by Zeus himself as he casts bolts of lightning down upon the Huffy riding weaklings! I have seriously seen grown men weep and women faint as this two-wheeled street dragon roared down the streets breathing fire upon the pedestrians of Austin, Texas.

So what kind of price can I put on such a glorious piece of magical transportation machinery you ask?? Other bicycles that wish they could compete with the Denali Dragon cost millions of dollars and can only be bought on the black market in Somalia, but you have stumbled upon the deal of a lifetime my friend. This aluminum stallion can be yours for a mere $90! Yes you read correctly, 90 BUCKS!!! "But how can this be? That's impossible! What is the meaning of life?!?", they all ask. Sometimes life's greatest mysteries are the most beautiful ones, and you are seeing one right now first hand as this slumbering dragon sits in its garage cave of solitude waiting to be released back into the wild and claim its rightful place at the top of two-wheeled food chain!! Come check it out if you feel brave enough to tame this wild dragon and ride it into the sunset.

This GMC Denali road bike is in good working order. The back tire holds air but the front tire needs a new tube that costs around $10. I put new yellow grip tape on it about two months ago. Brakes work and gears shift well. All of the GMC Denali stickers have been removed. You can view the bike on Amazon.com via the link below...

Copy written by a early Dungeons and Dragon adopter. The bike is still a Denali heavyweight.

I just keep thinking how much it would suck trying to hang onto the back of a dolphin as it churns through a sea of small, diamond-hard, pointy little rocks. F that noise.

That CL poster should get $1000 for his bike just because.
