Plan on getting fitted on my roadie - any suggestions?
I live in Southern Indiana and I have been asking a few guys in the local clubs where they recommended to get a fit; they suggested the following shops:
https://www.maplewoodbicycle.com/bike-fit.asp
https://www.revolutionbikeandbean.com...p/bikefitting/
Maplewood is $300 and uses Retul Fitting
Revolution is $150 and uses 3D Specialized BG Fit
Any thoughts as to which one is best or suggestions? Thanks!

I'm sure either will be great. Depends on your budget. Retul seems a bit more tech involved but It comes down to the person doing the fit. Ill be going with the BG fit myself soon. I'm more excited about the guy who will be doing the fit. I already met him and he is an Olympic cyclist as well as a Pan American champion who is one of 40 BG certified top fitters in the country.

I got the Specialized 3D BG Fit for $129 (plus any new parts/inserts/whatever). I was surprised at how thorough it was and all of the little adjustments here and there and how much of an impact it had. I was VERY happy the results, and (at least at my shop) any adjustments I need made after riding for a while and feeling out the fit are free of charge.
That Retul Fitting seems pretty hardcore. Depending on your riding style and what your goals are, that may be a little over the top. Ultimately it depends on how into the sport you are and what you want to accomplish, but I wouldn't really want to drop $300 on a fit if it were me.

I got a BG fit last year and it was terrible. After the fit my arms were falling asleep within the first 10 miles. I was actually complaining of this at the fitters but he paid no attention. I dont blame the BG fit but I do blame the fitter. I'll never go back to him again, although it is a kickin shop.

I went the Retul route and I'm extremely satisfied with the service and the two fitters I have dealt with. I say two because the fitter that did the initial fit left the area and I am now using another shop. However, the cost for my fitting was in accordance with Retul's price of $250.00.
