Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Duckface's bike is actually a really nice riding bike. I rode it a bit and it felt really smooth. If it were a few sizes bigger, I would steal it.

As for the pedals, I am in the process of training the duck.

You're teaching her how to adapt from clipless pedals to platforms?

Getting ready for the epic weekly Wednesday club ride.

The weather is finally cooperating.

I am preparing a little "goodie bag" premium for all participants...two bicycle temporary tattoos and one chocolate GU.

I just got back from the first day of the Taipei International Cycle show. Holy moly! As just a regular Jo rather than a trade visitor, I was like a kid in a sweet shop. so much shiny bikes and parts I couldn't stop drooling.

I bumped into some very nice people from Planet X and from Wiggle too. The English stick out a mile from all the continental Europeans and Americans. Loads of Dutch and French people there.

So RUOkie, have you posted any pictures of your house project? And will it include a tornado/prepper underground bunker?
