Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is it even in production? The article just talks about it winning a design competition. It seems a bit like one of those concept cars that you see at car shows to me.

"Blake Witherow of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology says that his new 'Regenerative Helmet' overcomes many of the problems of ordinary helmets, which he says are often ill-fitting and unsafe."

That is a quote from an article about the helmet. Try getting in touch with him or that organization. I'm betting the helmet was never actually produced though.

there is an old man that rides up alp d'huez every day at 9. you have to hold his wheel to the top. at the top he drinks shots of marc until he is good and toasty. you must keep up with him shot for shot. then after both of you are good and drunk you have to descend the alp d'huez. you must keep up with him. if you stick with him til the bottom he will take you to his house, you then must take his wife out to dinner and satisfy her every whim and if she comes back and reports that you were an excellent date you will be awarded the tron helment.

Looks hot. Hot as in poorly ventilated.

I do like how non-mushroom-y it looks, but it does look heavy and hot.
