Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Never quit!

So I'm one of those who HTFU applies to, and in more than just cycling.

I put a little something on my top tube tonight, something I can see from the tops, hoods, or drops.

Anyone do similar?

I think I've seen that attributed to Mark Twain.

Yes, as it had to cater for SPD-SL/Keo/iClic/Speedplay since it is a neutral bike.

First off, I am glad you did not re-gift your label maker.

If reading those words helps you, then good job.

Me, I prefer to just ride further from my house....even though I can quit at any time, the fact that I am not home yet seems to push me adequately.

Your optimism is refreshing.

And misplaced.

I think that decal in the OP looks like something awful that comes out of a machine bought at Office Max in the 90s.

But I also think that slogans can be huge for some athletes. Mental tricks can help a lot. If they don't work for you, don't use them. But they certainly do work for some... not a rare thing for pro athletes at all.

We only scourge the weak. I think the OP will make it through....he's probably pasting the same label on his keyboard right now.

There's eleventy billion people out there that either have some stupid tattoo, customized stem cap, sticker or Road ID bracelet saying basically the same thing. No, you are not alone.
