Handlebar Help

I currently use a FSA Wing Pro Compact aluminum handlebar (white). I got it when I was not very flexible and was not using my drops very much. Now that I use my drops a lot I find that they are too shallow and am looking for a good non-compact alternative. I like the flat top and the fact that I could get in white to match my bike. Any suggestions on a replacement?

No suggestions for a new bar, but take a look at your setup before buying new ones. One reason that you see a lot of shallow drop bars is the current trend to use a lot of saddle to bar drop, so you're more aerodynamic with your hands on the brake hoods - where most riders spend most of their time (even the pros). I see a lot of bikes setup with only a few centimeters of drop from the saddle to the top of the bars. Try something in the 7-11cm range, but only make changes a little at a time. I used 9cm of drop for many years and made the jump to 11cm with no problem - switched from a -6 degree stem to a -17.

I think some of the Ritchey 'compact' bars are more in the 132ish drop. The Ritchey WCS Classic bar I have on my Kirk has a more traditional bend and a 135mm drop. Deda also makes a couple traditional bend bars in different drops.
