put the long stem back on

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

put the long stem back on

and flipped the front reflector around and down so it was in line with the stem and below the bars and less like a parachute. need a smaller thinner more aero rear trunk.

lol riveting, I know. how about a lame cell phone pic to jazz things up. I have a picture of the short one I took off but I don't know how long verizon is gonna take to get it to my email ...

since I raised the bars I've been thinking maybe I can handle the reach of the long stem. so now there's something to test next ride out.

yay I took the wheel reflectors off and the other nite I was out and as I was passing an intersection I was thinking I would have liked the rotational side reflectivity that they provided.

saw a cop giving out tickets to bikers in Wellfleet a couple years ago - don't know why but I want to keep my ride street legal.

Do you routinely ride at night? If you do you should consider getting lights if you didn't already.

yup ride at night, not a lot but enough to have good lights. I used to commute year 'round so I got lights when the commute went black. I always ride with strobes even on sunny days cuz when I'm in shade I'm invisible. I also go pretty fast and have to cross many intersections, the sooner they see me the more likely they are to judge my speed and plan whether they will wait or go. I bought this bike used. the wheel reflectors were on but the front reflector was off. not sure what the owner was thinking.

hey does anybody know whats up with all the database errors?
