Specialized carbon cranks fitment question

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Specialized carbon cranks fitment question

Ok I have been out of the loop for about 8 years so I'm not up on all these new bottom bracket types. I have an extra Specialized carbon crankset from my 2010 tarmac pro and I want to see about putting it on my wife's 2011 Orbea Onix. It has the external shell type BB and I know the specialized says it's BB30 compatible. It appears by looking at the frames they both have oversized shell's in the frame but I wasn't sure what I needed to make it work. I only have the crank arms and rings, no bearings or BB shell or anything for the specialized stuff. Will this work?

Well I can't find for sure if the Onix is BB30 or not...if you are sure that it is then what you need is a set of BB30 bearings like these: https://fairwheelbikes.com/hsc-bb30-c...it-p-3689.html

They will need pressed in...from many reports you should probably have them loctited in to avoid creaking. Search for BB30 threads and you will find the appropriate type of loctite.
