I am going to take a fifty mile ride tomorrow (unless something happens) and end up with 7001 miles for 2004. 1000 more than last year. I could have had 1000 more but the family grew and I had to reconfigure my commuting strategy to cut down on time/miles. I'm still happy with 7000 though not too shabby.

I started in Mid Sept and have pulled down ~950 (+20/-0) miles. Am planning on going out once it gets above 38* F here today for another 25-35. That doesn't include any trainer time that I have put in in the last month.
Goal for 2005 is to put more miles on my bikes than my car.

Didn't really get started until May due to move from SoCal to Austin but I managed 5300mi. This included two pretty nasty accidents that sidelined me for about 4 weeks. Dec was all base, did two zone 2 centuries plus 600 zone 1 miles.

14,532 miles
279 ride days
1,210,280 vertical feet
988.5 hours of saddle time
The storm seems to be over, so maybe I'll get an hour or two more in before midnight tomorrow.

I have done in the last month 258 trainer E2 miles and about 135 or so raod miles. Been a bad month for group rides. Got messed up when I was hurt.
I can not say I was faithful about milage this year, one computer died and I do not have a computer on my MTB which I use for patrol. I estimate 6000 miles.

Well, I'll post up with all you higher milage types.
Just got a road bike af=gain this March. First execise in just over two years.
The road bike has right at 1700 (1696) miles on it. And I have done close to 300 on the mountain bike.
So a 2000 mile year.
Should be easy to do more next year.

Nice vertical, dude. I hope you brought a beer along for when you crossed that 1,000,000th foot of vertical...

And I had to take a ride on the soggy roads today, just so I could go over the 1000-hour mark for the year. I know, I have a problem.

"1,210,280 vertical feet"
Just say it out loud " over one million feet of climbing ". DAMN!
For me around 4200 miles, it's so flat around here we have to count bridges an overpasses as hills.

Come out to Colorado sometime next summer.
There are no flat rides.

I did over 5500 miles a year for the last few years but only did around 1500 this year. A new profession and being married will limit my miles, but now I enjoy the rides more.

Over 6000 on my Mountain Bikes with 2.0 tires. Most of this was on unpaved roads. Not exactly "Road Cycling" but close.

Just got off the bike as the wind picked up again this afternoon for another round of storm it seems.
5268 miles with 334,787 verticle feet of climbing. I did over 100,000 feet of climbing in August, how you can average it every month for a year is just stunning! Awesome Terry.
