Which road bike should i consider buying?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Trek 1.5 https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes...1_series/1_5/#

Motobecane Sprintour https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/...intour_xii.htm

No idea if i can trust the sprintour but it seems like a good deal.

The one that fits the best. If you dont know exactly what size you want, I would suggest riding one first to see. Otherwise though, unless you are overly concerned with brand names, I would get the Motobecane.

Neither, I'd get this:

The Fuji Roubaix 1.0 provides a good frame with new 105.

+1. Treks are overpriced... and they're Treks.

Looks like the Fuji Roubaix from Performance is only available in a couple of small sizes.

Here are a couple more possibilities:

Full carbon with a complete Tiagra (9 speed) gruppo for $949 + shipping is pretty tempting. Looks like they only have it in sizes 54, 57, and 60 though.

If you don't mind a bike that's a bit heavier, the steel Schwinn with 105 looks like a good deal from Bikes Direct.
