Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bike Repair & Maintenance For Dummies

I am a big fan of the dummies book series, and planning to get the Bike Repair & Maintenance For Dummies book for the road bike I got recently. I am aware of Sheldon Browns website, but I prefer getting a book. Anyone here read this book before? Any comments about this book?

No idea about that book but the Park Tools "Repair Help" notes are about all I have ever needed to teach myself bike wrenching. If I was going to buy a book, theirs would be the one I would buy but haven't even felt the need for that.

I have the Kindle edition which is not a good format for a book like this. That aside, I'd suggest looking further.
