Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thompson Seatpost Clamp Sitting on Carbon Rails am I screwed?

Greetings all,

Last night I recieved my Thompsom Masterpiece (UPS delivered at 8:00pm - so much for hiding it from wifey). Started to put it on and I noticed the carbon rails on my seat really dont fit the clamp. They sit in the bottom of the clamp ok, but the top piece hits just off to the sides on both rails.. too small. Am I scewed with this seatpost? Can I bolt it down and risk a "Carbon Colonoscopy" (stolen from another witty user here). The sadlle is a Devox carbon from Felt. Comes standard with high end 2011 models. I searched on line and there seems to be similar porpblems with Specialized posts/ saddles, but no difinative answer.

Thanks
