BTW LC good work. You're not such a disgusting fat body any longer. Well done. Concussion recovery has shed 2lbs off me as well. Lightest I've been in two years today. |

My favorite line is to turn to some racing idiot near the end of a fast ride or race and say 'You know how I know these guys aren't so fast? I'm still here.'

Sounds like a good plan, assuming Columbus is a big enough market. I've never been there.

I might be dipping into the 140's soon. When I was that light before, climbing was a bit easier.

I hit 156...thats my lowest in over 2 years...I used to be a steady 145...I would love to hit 148ish. Those clincher FC 404s seem to have made climbing ridiculously hard for me...I used to fly up hills on my mavics and a heavier bike

I've been a cat 4 for nearly a year now, and I'd let you ride my S2 if we raced. That way you could see how friggen' dumb you are for putting Di2 on. My Red group with the new 2012 FD is butter. Perfect shifts, even under power. I have not had a chain drop since I changed the FD. Not to mention, it's several pounds lighter. Since you sold your tubies, your bike is what 16lbs now? haha, what a tank!
Well you never should of gotten heavy clinchers to start off. My 404s are the lightest wheels I own. I love to climb with them. I was 152lbs this morning. I've been eating like crazy trying to feed my brain repair process. I can't eat enough it seems. It sucks, all I've done all week is lay in bed, eat food, and watch the Giro and ATOC. I might try doing an easy spin on the trainer today. Right now, it's time for a nap. |

I've won my share of races and lost my share as well. I have never won nor lost a race because my bike was lighter or heavier than the other bikes around me. |

You guys are morons. A heavier bike is always going to result in more work period. Sure a better use of funds would be to buy epo, or hgh, but taking pictures of epo or hgh on a scale and posting it on bf could get me banned from racing. Racing a light bike in non uci events is pretty much okay. Besides that, I've always been addicted to modifying things so building a sub 13lbs aero road bike was a challenge right up my alley.
Whenever you are talking to people that have already been there and done that you might not want to call them morons. I've done the light bike thing and I know for damn sure that I benefited more from a power meter than I ever benefited from losing a pound or two from my bike. |

Oh, is that too complicated for you? I'm not a big climber, I can hang on a short climb in a circuit race, in any really hilly RR I'd get shelled like a cheap pistachio. That being said, I'm sure I could out climb 90%+ of the 41 Freds. We have a mile long climb on the Nyack Ride they hit pretty hard mid-ride , when I'm in good shape I can hang with the main group, we'll see how I do Sunday. It's really a climb for about .7 miles or so, the last half mile is a 3-4% grade but they are hammering and everybody is already gassed from the initial 1000 meters of the hill. The guys driving that train are mainly 2/3.
Was making fun of you making fun of the metric system. Joke is still on you though :D |

PS I am faster than none of you, shall we now move on to who has the biggest dick? |

I agree a heavier bike is always going to result in more work period. The question is whether the additional weight associated Di2 is worth the improved performance.

^ practicality has nothing to do with di2
