Drivers In South Central PA (For Once, A Good Report)
I had the ride-from-hell yesterday. 200 miles from northern MD into south central PA (Shippensburg - including "Big Flat", East Berlin, etc.), and I was sick from mile 75 onward. The illness caused me to stop quite often, lean on the bike, and wait for the waves of nausea etc. to pass before carrying on.
The illness isn't the point.
While I was standing there, or sitting on the curb, I lost count of the number of drivers who stopped and asked if everything was okay, or if they could help.
Nice people in that area - and it's nice to provide a positive report about drivers' concern for cyclists.
