Asking about worst saddles....is just like asking people what color they hate.
BTW:
Specialized Toupe = Sweet
Fizik Aliante = Nope
Selle Italia SLR = Love it
Selle San Marco Ponza = ouch

Narrow saddles are great for people who bend forward at the waist and keep their back flat. Look at the posture of the pros on TV.
If you sit more upright with a hunched back and locked elbows, then you will need a wider saddle.

presently, mine is the san marco concor light, the lance saddle from days of yore, the penis seat (it looks like a d1ck, really). i bought to put on a retro build and thought it might work out on my new bike also. ive tried to like it and have had it set up various ways but man, its a sphincter guillotine. straight up the middle with no forgiveness. im going back to flat seats. fizik arione???
The first time I rode it was a 6 hour ride, with no problem at all.
The worst I ever used was some $50 Specialized saddle about 10 years ago. The pathetic too-soft padding collapsed over the first few weeks of riding, leaving the edges of the shell rubbing on the inside of my thighs.

I have been able to adjust out any discomfort in any saddle I've ridden. The one that required the least amount of fiddling-with was this no-name Phorma (not Selle) that came with a Nashbar bike. Large cutout, great support, not too long, not too soft, and black and white to boot.
It's funny how sometimes the no-name stuff trumps the expensive stuff.

I had a Walgoose, an A50 or something. God I hated that saddle. Would go on a ride and not be able to ride for at least 4 days.
My 2002/3 Fuji also came with an ass hatchet. Never thought I could find a saddle worse than the Walgoose, and guess what - mission accomplished! 1 ride followed by 2 weeks of nothing. Talk about working up to a distance, I would have to get used to going around the block a few times before I could leave the complex and still be able to ride the next day. I so glad I threw those out when I started commuting.
My current saddles are like butter - a Felt Racing and Selle Italia Max Flow Gel something.

Worst was the Fizik Arione by far.
Best ever - any of the Selle SMP drop nose saddles. If you don't own one, its because you have never tried one.
I use a WTB Pure V on my mountain bike and have even used it on my touring bike when riding on gravel roads. It is a great saddle, but not really for serious road cycling.

Thats what I am using now, its good until about 45 minutes in then its like all my ex-girlfriends banded together to create a device to cause damage and severe pain to my nether region and for good measure created way for it to not go numb so the pain is constant.
still better than the knock off Fizik i got from nashbar the GR2, junk went numb 10 minutes into a ride no matter what angle i set it.

stole your bike
The Specialized Toupe was not pleasant at all. The Fizik Arione has worked really well for me.

The Prologo that came with my supersix was like sitting on on a bee hive. I am now on a Selle Pro and love it.

Indeed.
I have a Cinelli Unicanitor on my fixed gear and I love it. After changing the seatpost the other day though, it became the worst thing I have ever placed my backside on. A little adjusting to get it back in the right spot and it's perfect again. I wouldn't tour on it, but as an indestructible, all-weather, city-bike saddle, it's plenty comfortable.
