Cyclometers feedback
 

I'm on the market for a wireless cyclometer with the basics, and maybe cadence? Don't need the feature, but I know it's great for training. So what are your experiences with brands/models?

Here's what I'm considering right now:
Sigma BC 1609 STS
Sigma BC 1609 STS + Cadence
Sigma BC 1009 STS (Nice and basic can be the best)
Topeak Panoram V10
Topeak Panoram V10c
Blackburn Atom SL 5.0
Blackburn Atom SL 3.0

I know Bell, Planet Bike, Cat Eye, Mavic and the big makers (Trek, Specialized, etc) make computers as well. I haven't considered these because they're either not locally available, wouldn't match my Fuji, or I've had bad experience with the quality of their products (planet bike). What do you have and think of? :)

sweet, i was just about to make a thread asking the same thing.

I use a Bontrager Node 1.1 but only because it integrates so nicely with my bike. Nice big screen too.

i've only had cateye (3 different ones on 3 different bikes) cheap, easy to use, good quality. my current one was about $40 at the LBS... cateye micro wireless. no complaints.

+1 also iPhone in jersey pocket running strava.

I have a 1609 with cadence. Good crisp display and the controls are simpler to access everything compared to many other brands. Has everything I want without being too cluttered. Also has the option to use one on two bikes. You get a separate harness which codes to tell the computer if it is on bike #1 or #2. Keeps all the data separate for each bike. So just swap the head unit at will. Makes having one computer you know on two bikes easy. Also has provision for loaded to a computer though I haven't used that.

I have used Cateye double wireless. Good though less good interface.

I also have the $12 Schwinn (also same one with Bell on it). Has all the basic stuff, trip, total mileage, avg, max and current speed. Less crisp display, but readable. Display will sometimes fade out if left in direct noon sun over 100 degrees (comes back once you ride and the air cools it a bit).

The Sigma does seem the best quality of the few I have used.
