Climb Muscles?
 
What's the muscles I want to be using the most during a climb. I find myself wearing on my outer thighs the most, but when I put my power into my glutes I feel like I work more efficiently. Is there a right/wrong?

How long are the climbs?

Seated or standing?

If you're using your legs, you're on the right track. Do whatever feels best. If you get tired or your butt gets a bit numb from sitting in the same spot, shift to a different position or stand up for a bit. It's just riding a bike, it's not complicated.

Climbing in the saddle, slide back on the seat a bit, and scrape the dog poop off your shoes as you pedal.

Sounds about right to me. When I'm seated I feel it more in my butt. OTS I feel my "outer thigh" working more. Not sure, but I think that's the gluteus medius.

Yeah, to ellaborate, I'm talking about in the saddle climbing.

+1, but you may also try scooting forward, putting your taint closer to the tip of the saddle. This allows you to change which muscles you focus on during the downstroke.

yeah, I've always heard to slide forward a bit, and use your hammys more. Spin, scrape the bottom and push over the top.
